A newly-wed couple was found dead in their room by family members, Express News reported on Monday.
Anas and his cousin Samina got married in Gujranwala but returned to Multan after the ceremony. It is reported that after the entire family dined outside together, the couple retreated to their room on Sunday evening.
However, the next morning when their family attempted to wake them, they did not respond.
The family broke in to find their bodies on the bed. Police have arrived at the scene of the death and are awaiting a post-mortem report in order to confirm the cause of death.
