Man kidnaps, kills nephews on advice of spiritual soothsayer

RAWALPINDI: A man kidnapped three of his nephews from Haripur near Abbottabad and slit their throats, killing two and injuring the third critically, Express News reported on Monday.

These crimes were reportedly committed on the advice of a pir who told the uncle, identified as Nadeem, that in order to fulfil his wishes he will have to sacrifice three children.

According to SSP, the victims were identified as Meher Ali and Qadir Ali and were reportedly between 10 and 14 years of age. The bodies of the victims were found from the Murree tehsil of Rawalpindi.

The injured nephew, identified as Zain Ali, managed to get away from his uncle and reportedly informed the police about the wrongdoings of his uncle.

Nadeem managed to get away after committing the crimes.

such pir mafia is throughout pakistan, i am not sure how the govt in Pakistan is unable / unwilling to take the right step and put all these people to an early grave, i mean in Pakistan capital punishment is legal, and these people are careless and using people's faith as a tool in order to profit and make their lives more difficult ... high time these people should be dealt with and cleansed in a way that no one will do such a thing again
