Sectarian violence in Quetta: Two Hazara men shot dead
No group claimed responsibility for the attack till the filing of this report.
QUETTA:
At least two people were gunned down on Saryab Road of Quetta in an apparent incident of sectarian targeted killing. Najeebullah, 28, and Jummah Khan, 65, were resident of Hazara Town and wanted to go Karachi when targeted near a bus terminal on Saryab Road. The assailants were on motorbike and escaped after committing the crime. The bodies were shifted to Combined Military Hospital for medical examination and later handed over to heirs. “The victims belonged to Hazara community. This is a case of sectarian targeted killing and police is investigating the incident,” said local police officer. No group claimed responsibility for the attack till the filing of this report.
