RAWALPINDI:

The Rawalpindi Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (RBISE) has finalised foolproof arrangements for holding the annual intermediate examinations, which start on April 30.

According to RBISE Spokesman Arslan Cheema, elaborate arrangements were being made to ensure the exams are held transparently and smoothly.

He said that the roll number slips and date sheets were being dispatched to students at their postal addresses and colleges.

The students have been asked to contact the board officials in case they face any delays in getting the roll number slips.

The RBISE spokesman said that special teams will be constituted to conduct surprise visits at exam centres to discourage use of unfair means in the examination.

“Strict action would be taken against cheaters and anyone facilitating them,” he said.

Meanwhile, RBISE Chairman Dr Muhammad Zareef visited the one-window operation set up in the Board Complex on Saturday and inspected the arrangements there.

The board has set up three separate desks at the one-window operation facility to facilitate the students.

Members of the educational department and examiners have been directed to seek help from the operation facility to assist candidates during the exams.
