Negligence: IGP suspends DSP over poor investigation
The IGP subsequently called for the DSP’s suspension and an inquiry was ordered against him.
An inquiry into the case was conducted by Capital City Police Officer Peshawar which proved that the investigation was done half-heartedly and sufficient evidence was not collected.

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) IGP Nasir Khan Durrani on Saturday suspended Special Branch DSP Hamidullah Khan over shoddy investigations in a case in which the accused was acquitted by the court due to lack of evidence.
