GUJRANWALA:
A man shot a woman at her house in Gujranwala over what police claimed to be rejection of friendship, Express News reported on Saturday.
The incident took place in the Alipur Chattha area of the city.
The 26-year-old man was reportedly bothering the woman over the phone via text messages. Police claimed that after the woman rejected his offer for friendship, he came to her house on a motorbike and started shooting at her.
The woman, who was reportedly between 18 and 20 years of age, was shot three times and died on the spot.
Further investigation is underway. The relationship between the two deceased was not ascertained till filing of this report.
