DG PEPCO says loadshedding to be reduced

LAHORE: DG PEPCO Mohammad Khalid said a report has been sent to the president and the prime minister regarding the ongoing power crisis.

Khalid told the media, that 694 megawatts will be included in the system on Wednesday, from KEPCO and Gudu Power Plant to reduce the loadshedding hours.

He said PEPCO has also accepted the offer from Lahore Chamber of Commerce Industry to install a power plant capable of generating 1000 megawatts.

He added that PEPCO has paid Rs 21 billion to gas companies and over Rs 48 billion to oil companies to reduce the demand and supply gap.

But We why dont media tell us about the coseption of misconseption about the offer given by china to supply power to Pakistan. Does the media does not have any commercial interest about the china offer news. Thanks jahangeer Mirza

Atif Chodhary | 14 years ago | Reply whenever on media the ministers of ruling party asks about circular dead they refuse that nothing is happen due to circular dead.But i am 100% sure and media should try to focus on the issue of circular dead is the main cause of loadshedding.I dont think that the short fall of electricity in Pakistan is more than 2000 MW.The fact is power is not generating on full capacity due to miss management.I am sorry to say that media is not highlighting the this problem properly.
