Khalid told the media, that 694 megawatts will be included in the system on Wednesday, from KEPCO and Gudu Power Plant to reduce the loadshedding hours.
He said PEPCO has also accepted the offer from Lahore Chamber of Commerce Industry to install a power plant capable of generating 1000 megawatts.
He added that PEPCO has paid Rs 21 billion to gas companies and over Rs 48 billion to oil companies to reduce the demand and supply gap.
