The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) has set up first-ever exhibition centre in the city in order to facilitate researchers and industries in showcasing their research and products.


The centre, which is established with funds from the Endowment Fund Secretariat (EFS) and is modelled on the Lahore Exhibition Centre, will be opened in May.

Situated in the heart of Faisalabad, the centre comprises 14 halls and provides 37,000 square feet of covered area.

EFS and UAF have already signed an agreement with China Pakistan Marketing Company for organising the Pakistan Agri Expo 2014 here on May 28.

The centre is aimed at promoting transfer of technology to stakeholders through exhibitions and providing a platform for researchers and organisations to showcase their work.
