On the eve of the Indian elections,  Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has decided to up his game by using 3D holographic technology to address an election rally on April 7, 2014.

According to a statement issued on Modi's official Facebook account, he will be addressing millions of people over 100 towns and cities across India simultaneously.

Modi’s officials say that they had previously used 3D technology to connect with people during the 2012 Gujarat polls and since the response was positive they will now be using it on a larger scale.

“3D technology is a fantastic medium to connect with lakhs & lakhs of people, particularly in places I will not be able to visit personally,” said Modi on his Facebook page.
