Cyber crime: Two people arrested for credit card fraud
Data of thousands of credit cards was seized from them.

Two men suspected of credit card fraud were arrested by the National Response Centre for Cyber Crime (NR3C) on Friday.
FIA Director Usman Anwar told The Express Tribune that Muhammad Abubakar and Idrees Zia were arrested from a shop at Barkat Market in Garden Town, Lahore.
He said the raiding team comprising Deputy Director Chaudhry Sarfaraz, Sub-Inspectors Majid Niazi and Najeeb Niazi, ASI Muhammad Sohail Shahzad and Assistant Director Muhammad Usman seized data of thousands of credit cards, four laptops and two mobile phones.
“The suspects allegedly paid online fees of hundreds of ACCA students using these cards,” he said.
FIA arrest factory owner for illegal power generation
The FIA on Friday arrested a factory owner for illegally generating electricity using a gas-powered generator.
FIA Director Usman Anwar said the suspect, Hafiz Farooq, was arrested by a team led by Assistant Director Malik Sikandar Hayat.
He said Farooq owned Ghani Gas at Multan Road in Phool Nagar, Kasur.
“He was involved in unauthorised power generation using gas generators run on an industrial gas connection.”
Passengers arrested for travelling on fake documents
The Immigration Wing of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday arrested two men for trying to go abroad using fake documents.
FIA said Syed Kamran Abbas Rizvi, a resident of National Town in Gujranwala, was on his way to Italy using a fake resident card. He was offloaded and arrested from the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
Separately, Muhammad Kashif Faheem, a resident of Bahria Town Lahore, was also arrested from the Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, after his visa to the Netherlands was found fake.
FIA said legal action had also been initiated against their agent Azhar Ahmad.
