The All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association (APCNGA) on Friday suggested increasing the working-schedule of CNG stations from six hours to nine per day throughout the week in Punjab.
“A proposal has been submitted to the Ministry of Petroleum to increase the working-hours of CNG stations, replacing the existing 10 am to 4 pm schedule with a 6 am to 3 pm one to facilitate motorists,” said APCNGA Chairman Ghayas Paracha.
He expressed hope that the government consider the proposal as it would help diminish the sufferings of motorists, who are spending hours in the queue. Elaborating, he said that the suggestion has been submitted in line to offer relief especially to the working class who spend too much time in order to get the cylinders refilled on their way to work. “CNG station owners are being urged to dedicate exclusive dispensers for each public transport vehicle and privately-owned vehicles.”
