Scheduled training: Training unit meets Sindh Police
Three-member delegation of US-based Global Training Unit discusses details of proposed short training courses.
KARACHI:
A three-member delegation of the United States-based Global Training Unit, led by training co-ordinator Naydja Bell, met with Sindh AIG Ghulam Hyder Jamali at the Central Police Office. The delegation discussed the details of the proposed short training courses, which will be organised by the US consulate for the Sindh Police, said a statement on Thursday. The delegation informed Jamali that it will visit the Police Training Centre in this regard. The statement said that the delegation also held a meeting with the acting Sindh IG, Iqbal Mehmood, and informed him that the training courses will enhance the capacity of the police and will help them cope with crime.
