Senior provincial minister and newly appointed chief of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq on Tuesday said the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) government would take steps to meet the target of interest-free loans for youth amounting to Rs10 billion.
Talking to journalists at the inauguration ceremony of Islamic Banking Branch of Bank of Khyber at Khawaja Ganj Bazaar, Mardan, Haq said Islamic banking was a beneficial system and would strengthen the economy. The minister said the loans would be provided to skilled youth to start their own businesses.
