Distinguished Service Award: Pakistani youth leader honoured in UK

According to press release, Hassan was nominated out of several young leaders in 40 branches in elite UK universities.

KARACHI: The United Nations Association UK (UNA-UK) honoured Muhammad Hassan Bin Azad, a Pakistani student at Lancaster University and the president of the Lancaster University UNA Youth branch, with the prestigious Distinguished Services Award for his groundbreaking efforts to advocate UN issues in the form of various on-going student-led and research oriented initiatives. According to a press release, Hassan was nominated out of several young leaders in 40 branches in elite universities of the UK and the award was given by Sir Jermey Green Stock, Chairman, UNA-UK. Hassan stated: “I am very pleased to have been given such an appreciation by the United Nations Association UK. It is a great honour to have my efforts and contributions recognised and applauded on an international platform. .”
