A patient with dengue fever died in the city, making the total death toll so far in the province to two this year. The health officials feared that a dengue outbreak is possible this year in Sindh. The latest victim was a 41-year-old man from Baldia Town, who was admitted to a private hospital on March 11 and died on March 28. The first death was on February 3 in Malir where a four-year-old boy died. According to the Provincial Dengue Surveillance Cell focal person Dr M Shakeel Aamir Mullick, the total number of dengue fever cases in Sindh is 154, including 143 in Karachi alone.
