LAHORE:

An additional district and sessions judge granted bail to two people, including a female principal of The Educators School.

A complaint had been filed against them for allegedly making the petitioner’s daughter stand on a table with her hands held up. The judge confirmed that he had granted bail for Rs50,000 each to Imranullah, the owner-administrator, and Rizwana Asif, the principal of the school.

The suspects claimed that the incident had never occurred. Aftab Qaisar said he had enrolled his daughter in play-group. On September 2, he visited the school and found his daughter standing on a table with her hands held up. He said she was crying. He said when he objected, Imranullah and Asif told guards to throw him out. He asked the court to direct the police to register a case against them.
