Promoting integration: Balochistan youth festival concludes

Balochistan Governor Muhammad Khan Achakzai has said that the purpose of conducting the Balochistan Sports and Youth Festival was to promote healthy activities amongst the youngsters. Speaking at the concluding session of the Balochistan Festival at Ayub Stadium, Quetta he said that the government is making sincere efforts for the promotion of cultural, sports and other extra-curricular activities, Daily Balochistan Express reported. Achakzai was of the view that the conduct of the sports festival was synchronized with the Pakistan Day with a theme song, “Hum Pakistani hain, Hum say Pakistan hain,” which represents the idea of national integration. He said that this festival began on the 22nd of this March and competitions in 27 various sports’ events, adding that as many as 2274 players took part in these competitions and 451 females were also took part in these games who exhibited their talents at their best.
