Preston University: Week-long spring splash continues
Students of universities from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kohat, Peshawar, Lahore, other cities of Punjab take part.

Different competitions marked the week-long “spring splash 2014” that kicked off at the Preston University on Friday.
Students of public and private universities from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Kohat, Peshawar, Lahore and other cities of Punjab were taking part in the competitions that included ‘qirat’, bilingual debate, drama, singing and sports activities.
On the first day, in qirat competition, the first position was won by Hafiz Muhammad Tayyab of the Punjab University while the second position was clinched by Madiha Ansari of the Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi and the third position went to Hafiz Hanzala of the Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi.
Member National Assembly Malik Ibrar Ahmed, who was the chief guest at the competition, highly eulogized the students’ talent and congratulated the winners.
In the English debate, Bakhtawar Rasheed of the Preston University grabbed the first position, while the second position secured by Abdullah Mohsin of the GC University, Lahore and the third position went to Ishfaque Ahmed of the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
In Urdu debate, Hassan Virk of the GC University got
the first position, while the second position was clinched by Syed Usman from the Pnjab University and Anayatullah of the Federal Urdu University, Lahore got the third position.
