Judicial remand: Two suspects sent to jail
Police also claim to have seized pistols and grenades from their possession.
KARACHI:
An anti-terrorism court (ATC), on Friday, sent two suspected militants to jail on judicial remand till April 7 in cases of police encounters, possession of explosive substances and illegal arms. The ATC-I sent the suspects, Syed Mushtaq Hussain and Mehboob Alam alias Madni, to the jail directing the investigation officer to submit a report under section 173 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The police claimed that they arrested the suspected activists of Lashker-e-Jhangvi after an encounter in Korangi Industrial Area, a couple of weeks back. The police had also claimed to have seized pistols and grenades from their possession.
