IMDC: Annual sports gala concludes

IMDC chairman Ghulam Akbar Khan Niazi, who was the chief guest, distributed prizes among the winners and runner-ups.


Both the boys and girls competed in various events including cricket, athletics, football, basketball, table tennis and badminton. Three-legged race, sack race, pillow fight, girl skipping and ludo board game were also part of the five-day sports gala.

Niazi said that the IMDC was doing well academically besides providing opportunities to the students to take part in healthy activities to excel at the national level. “We will support our students to move ahead in the field of sports too,” he said.

Fazal Karim Faisal was declared the best male player of the year while Nikhar Khan won the female award of the same category. Awais Niazi (football boys), Mohammad Asad (basketball), Ashan Khalid (cricket), Mamoona Shah (football girls) were given best player awards and special shields in their respective departments.
