LOS ANGELES: Media mogul Oprah Winfrey wants troubled actor Lindsay Lohan to get her life back on track. Winfrey was seen meeting with actor on an episode of TV series Lindsay, following complaints from production staff over her difficult behaviour and poor timekeeping. She advised her to “work on herself” and not “mess up” the chance she has been given.

Winfrey told her: “You need to relax, the most important work for you is the true spiritual work, your core beliefs about what is the essence of you and allowing the divine order or universal energy, I call it god, to work through you.”

“You need to align with that; that is where your strength and power is. You need to start with the personal work on yourself. It is waiting there for you; you are here to teach us how to do it. I believe that you believe that this is your time to turn things around for yourself,” said the 50-year-old media mogul.

“If that is the case then you are not going to mess this up. I know you are surprised to hear me say this. You need to cut the nonsense you really do, just cut the nonsense. You know what you need to do,” she concluded.

Lohan’s friends are also reportedly worried about her sobriety after finding that she is hanging around with the wrong crowd again. The 27-year-old, who has been to rehab several times for drug and alcohol addiction, was clicked with her old friend, British socialite Lady Victoria Hervey on the streets of New York city, and this is causing panic in her inner circle.

“It’s a really bad sign. Anyone in recovery knows that if you hang around with the same old people you did before, it side-tracks your entire life,” said a source.

Another troublesome friendship she seems to have rekindled is with Spanish artist Domingo Zapata, whose car she was driving when she hit a pedestrian in 2012 and was arrested for allegedly leaving the scene of the crime.
