Funeral prayers for JSQM leaders offered near Larkana
JSQM chairperson, vice-chairperson, central leaders attended the funeral along with thousands of party supporters.

The funeral prayers for Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz’s (JSQM) leader Maqsood Qureshi and his aide Latif Sangat Salman Wadhiyo were offered near Larkana, Express News reported on Monday.
The charred bodies of Qureshi and Wadhiyo were found from a gutted car in Naushero Feroze district on March 21.
Strict security measures were taken for the funeral today and a heavy contingent of police officers was deployed in Ratodero where the prayers were offered. The JSQM chairperson, vice-chairperson and central leaders attended the funeral along with thousands of party supporters.
Qureshi was JSQM’s spokesperson and the brother of party leader Bashir Ahmed Qureshi, while Wadhiyo was the central president of the party.
Protests and violence had erupted in different parts of Sindh including Karachi as soon as the news of the deaths spread.
Doctors at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, who conducted the post-mortem of the deceased, had revealed that Qureshi was shot at least four times while Wadhiyo was shot twice. It is believed that the car was set on fire after they were shot.
