Pakistan makes it to the Top Five denim manufacturers in Asia

Pakistani company secures the fifth position on WGSN’s list.

WGSN is the word’s trend forecaster and provides comprehensive seasonal coverage and item-specific design recommendations from all significant fashion week shows. Recently in a study, the team devised a list of the top five denim manufacturers and retailers in Asia and a Pakistani company, Siddiqsons, secured the fifth position.  It was a thorough trend update on the must-have denims in the upcoming season. Here is their report on the top five trends and manufacturers:

Advance Denim



Advance Denim is a one-stop company for on-trend and fancy fabrics, presenting a wide range of different kinds of fabrics such as double-coloured selvage with laser mended-look denim. These are high on the fashion radar this season.

Base Wealth



Base Wealth presents a wide range of special fabrics focusing on women’s fashion denim with soft Tencel mixed with power-stretch lightweight fabrics for summer. Multiple coloured and printed fabrics in stretch are offered as well as innovative jacquards. For all the trend-setters out there, these are the epitome of chic.

Black Peony




Focusing on indigo primarily for spring/summer 2015, Black Peony’s collection consists of soft-handle power-stretch fabrics for women, as well as a comfort stretch for men. It also shows indigo yarn-dyes, jacquards and Tencel in top and bottom weights. Trend alert  — indigo lowers are absolute must-haves.

Deyao



A range of denim garments for men and women with innovative techniques and ideas. Its laundry applications standout with interesting ways of using mending and bleach, as well as splatter updates and stone wash denim featuring alongside sequin work. Bling has sure been the va va voom this season.

Siddiqsons



Siddiqsons from Pakistan offers a wide collection showcasing its strong skill set with laser technology and up-to-date processing and dyeing techniques. A wide range of indigo circular knits, as well as a power stretch denim range for women were also on show.
