Slain judge’s guard: Police fail to submit charge-sheet
The court extended the judicial remand till March 31.
ISLAMABAD:
The city police Friday failed to submit a charge-sheet against a guard of the slain judge who was killed in City District Courts attack on March 3. On Friday, Babar Hussain was produced before the Anti-Terrorism Court. Hussain is on judicial remand since March 11 for allegedly killing the district and sessions judge Malik Raffaqat Awan. Hussain denied the charges. During the hearing on Friday, the Margalla Police Station SHO Khalid Mehmood informed the court that he will submit the charge-sheet on the next hearing as investigation was still under way. The court extended the judicial remand till March 31.
