Murder mystery: Three suspects held, husband accused

The police arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of a 27-year-old woman on Thursday.



Bhara Kahu police said they had found evidence that Asia Akhtar’s husband, Shahid Raza, may have been involved in the murder. Her body was found in Mera Begwal village on March 9.


The three suspects are Islam Zeb, Sher Alam and Awais Muhammad, residents of Kohistan. The police said their investigations have shown that the motive was differences between Raza and his wife. The woman was beaten to death.
