Cricket: Disability cricket series begins today

Both teams arrived in Dubai and held practice sessions to get used to the local conditions.

Pakistan-England Disability Cricket Series will begin on Friday with two Twenty20 (T20) matches to be played on the same day at the ICC Cricket Academy in Dubai.


Both teams arrived in Dubai and held practice sessions to get used to the local conditions. The series comprises three T20s and three 40-over matches. The third match will be played on Saturday.


Meanwhile, three 40-over one-dayers will be played on March 24, 27 and 29 according to the Pakistan Disable Cricket Association. Hasnain Alam will lead Pakistan while his deputy will be Matloob Qureshi, who scored a ton against the English team when  they last met.
