Social welfare: ‘28 development projects underway in Faisalabad’
Presiding over a meeting, DCO Noorul Amin Mengal says projected cost of these projects was Rs2.28 billion.

District Coordination Officer (DCO) Noorul Amin Mengal said on Wednesday that 28 development schemes were underway in Faisalabad.
Presiding over a meeting, he said the projected cost of these projects was Rs2.28 billion.
“Roads will be constructed and upgraded under 21 projects costing Rs1.70 billion… Four water supply and sewerage projects would cost Rs331.7 million.”
Mengal said sports stadiums would be established at Chak 153RB, Sahianwala, Chak Jhumra and Samundri for Rs100 million. “Two projects for upgrading irrigation water distributaries will be completed for Rs171.2 million.” The DCO directed the executing departments to ensure quality construction work. He said all departmental letters should be kept transparent.
He said weekly progress reports would be reviewed for monitoring.
