LAHORE: The Patient Welfare Society Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology (PWSI) arranged a Hope Day for cancer patients as well as those who had defeated the illness on Tuesday.
Those who had recovered shared their experiences with cancer patients and counselled them as well. Cancer patients from all over the province attended the event.
PWSI president Yasmeen Zia said the event was important because those who had recovered infused hope in those battling the disease. A special magic show was also arranged for children and their families.
