Brawl on holi: Acid in colour leads to injuries

Panic spread in the entire locality of Lassi Para in Malir where a group of Christians and Hindus got into a brawl. Some people mixed acid with the powdered colours used for the Holi festival to attack each other, causing two people to get minor injuries. According to the local SHO, Qambar Ali, the situation worsened even further during the festival, as rumours began to spread that a group of outsiders also attacked a temple in the area in reaction to the Larkana incident. The police arrested Sabir Masseh, for the brawl while his accomplice managed to escape from the scene. The two people injured during the attack have been identified as Sameer and Sanjay, who suffered injuries on their arms and legs and were taken to the hospital and released after treatment. An FIR was also registered.
