London engagements: Sartaj Aziz attends C’wealth ministerial group meeting

A senior aide to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif represented Pakistan in the 43rd meeting of Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) in London, the home of the grouping’s secretariat, on Saturday.



Sartaj Aziz, adviser on national security and foreign affairs is currently on a trip to the United Kingdom.


The meeting reviewed political developments in Fiji, suspended from the Commonwealth in 2006 after imposition of military rule.


The meeting decided to allow Fiji to participate in the Commonwealth Games.
