Epidemic update: One more dengue case reported

One more dengue viral fever case was reported in Karachi, increasing the number of confirmed cases this year to 128.

KARACHI: One more dengue viral fever case was reported in Karachi on Saturday, increasing the number of confirmed cases this year to 128, said focal person for Dengue Surveillance Cell Dr Shakeel Aamir Mullick. Dr Mullick said 136 dengue fever cases had been reported in 2014, of which 128 were reported from Karachi, one from Hyderabad and five from the rest of Sindh. He said two dengue cases were reported from Balochistan. He said that a dengue patient had expired in the city this year.
