Murdered: Missing woman, her daughter found dead
Police say the decomposed bodies had been taken to a hospital for autopsy.
BAHAWALPUR:
The bodies of a missing woman and her daughter were found from a sugarcane field in Sanjarpur on Friday.
Police said 35-year-old Nasreen Bibi and her 4-year-old daughter Muskan, residents of Mohalla Hashmi, Sanjarpur, went missing on March 8, 2014.
Police said their decomposed bodies had been taken to a hospital for autopsy after they were identified by Nasreen Bibi’s husband, Bashir Ahmad.
Police said Nasreen’s brother, Barkat Ali, suspected that his sister and niece had been murdered.
A case had been registered on a complaint filed by Barkat Ali, police added.
