Robbery: Elderly woman killed
She was allegedly murdered by robbers.

An elderly woman was tortured to death at her house in Naseerabad on Thursday. The victim identified as Khadija Begum, 80, was residing alone in her house. A neighbour found out about her death when he saw her front door opened and valuables scattered. As per preliminary investigation, Khadija had marks of torture on her body and neck, and apparently it was a case of robbery. She was allegedly murdered by robbers. Mansoor Ahmed, victim’s nephew told the police that a neighbour informed him by telephone about the robbery. A blind murder case has been registered by the police but no arrests have been made yet.
