A call for strike is issued by CNG Association and CNG Dealers Association against two-day CNG gas outage plan.

ISLAMABAD:
A call for strike has been issued against the government’s two-day CNG gas outage plan by the Chairman of All Pakistan CNG Association, Junaid Ismail Makda and the Chairman of All Pakistan CNG Dealers Association, Ghayas Abdullah Paracha.

The announcement was made in a joint press release issued after an emergency meeting in Rawalpindi.

“We have decided to keep our stations closed for the third consecutive day too if the government does not take back its two-day closure decision,” said the release. In the first stage, all CNG stations of the Potohar zone, including Attock, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Chakwal, Gujar Khan and Jhelum will observe the strike from November 1 onwards. The strike is to force the government to review its unfair decision which is creating a huge disturbance for the public.
