Campaign prep: Polio drive to start in Khairpur
District committee on anti-polio campaign holds coordination meetings with all departments to review the arrangements

Khairpur deputy commissioner Munawwar Ali Mithiani has directed the relevant departments of Khairpur to complete all necessary arrangements to launch the three-day polio immunisation campaign from March 24 to March 26 in the district.
Mithiani said that the eradication of polio is the top priority of the government and he urged all the stakeholders to make coordinated efforts to root out the crippling disease. The deputy commissioner also said that the performance of the polio teams will be monitored on a daily basis by him.
He said that the district committee on anti-polio campaign has held coordination meetings with representatives of all departments to review the arrangements for the forthcoming polio campaign.
