KARACHI:
The bodies of two young girls were found from Garden and Sohrab Goth respectively on Monday morning.

Police officials said that the bodies of both the girls, who were aged between 15 to 18 years, were dumped at the sites after they had been murdered.  The officials have, however, been unable to ascertain the motive behind their killings.

The body of the first victim was found at around 8am near Lyari Expressway. Garden police were alerted by the residents and they reached the site and shifted the bodies to Civil Hospital, Karachi, for autopsy. SHO Imdad Ali Khawaja, quoting the doctors' initial findings, said that they bore no marks of physical torture or a bullet.

Barely an hour later, another young girl was found dead near Super Highway. Sohrab Goth Industrial Area police officials said that unidentified culprits threw the victim's body from a running car and escaped. SHO Rana Haseeb said that the victim bore no marks of physical torture. He was of the opinion that the same group of assailants were behind both incidents.

Separately, 14-year-old Shabana, daughter of Mohammad Sharif, was shot dead in Afshani Gali, within the limits of Kalakot police station. Police officials said that the victim's cousin, Hanif, shot and killed her inside their home over a family dispute.  In another incident, 24-year-old Riasat Ali, son of Nazeer Ali, was shot dead in Bin Qasim Town. Police officials said that unidentified persons shot and killed the victim in a robberry bid.
