Three-day polio campaign starts in five districts of Balochistan
Around 761,000 children below age five will be administered anti-polio vaccine during the drive.

A three-day polio immunisation campaign started in five districts of Balochistan on Monday.
Officials in the Health Department said that medical teams have reached the districts including Quetta, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Zhob and Sherani and started administering anti-polio drops to children below the age of five.
“About 761,000 children below age five will be administered anti-polio vaccine during the three-day drive,” they said, adding that a total of 1,794 teams were formed to administer the drops to children in 228 health centres and 78 transit places.
They added that special arrangements were made to ensure security of the teams.
