LAHORE:

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested a wanted human trafficker whose name had been in the Red Book (a document listing high-profile human smugglers).

Agent Raja Rafaqat, a resident of Khewa Muhabbatpur in Mandi Bahauddin district, was a proclaimed offender. He had been nominated in several FIRs.

Separately, the FIA arrested a travel agent and recovered two fake Pakistani passports. During initial interrogation, Little Star Recruiting Agency Peshawar Director Rasool Khan said he had obtained the passports with changed pictures and bogus protectors from Bara.

They were meant for some Afghans who wanted to travel to Saudi Arabia, FIA Director Usman Anwar said.

The Federal Investigation Agency also arrested five Libya-bound passengers at the Allama Iqbal International Airport. A case has been filed against their travel agent.
