Swat tourism: Malam Jabba festival opens next week
Festival will allow people to enjoy sports like paragliding, hand gliding and tobogganing under professional help.

A five-day snow festival will start in Malam Jabba, Swat from March 12. The festival will allow people to enjoy sports like paragliding, hand gliding and tobogganing under professional help. Funfair activities have also been aranged for women and children, said an ISPR press release issued on Sunday. A grand music gala has also been arranged incorporating country’s renowned singers and bands. The snow festival will continue till March 16 while the opening and closing ceremonies will be conducted on March 12 and 16 respectively. The event will boost local tourism and help trigger economic activity in the Malakand division that was once devastated by terrorism.
