Court carnage: MQM chief warns against believing in Ahrarul Hind's claims
Little-known militant group claimed responsibility for attack inside Islamabad district courts which left 11 dead.
KARACHI:
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Tuesday said believing Ahrarul Hind – the militant group which claimed responsibility for attack on Islamabad district courts – will not be an intelligent move, Express News reported.
On March 4, two suicide bombers and their armed accomplices had attacked the district court in Islamabad, killing 11 people, including an additional sessions judge, and injuring over two dozen others.
In a statement issued in London, Hussain questioned how a little-known group could carry out such a big attack.
He added that his party supports Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s stance on not continuing with peace negotiations and military operation simultaneously.
