Sri Lanka bat against Afghanistan in Asia Cup

Afghanistan will be out of the event if they lose.

DHAKA:
Sri Lankan captain Angelo Mathews won the toss and decided to bat in the Asia Cup match against Afghanistan in Dhaka on Monday.

Sri Lanka, who will qualify for Saturday's final if they beat Afghanistan, brought in paceman Suranga Lakmal in place of spinner Sachitra Senanayake.

Afghanistan, who will be out of the event along with India if they lose, brought back Noor Ali Zadran and Dawlat Zadran for Karim Sadiq and Hamid Hassan from the line-up which upset Bangladesh on Saturday.
