A mushaira was organised at the Pak Tea House on Sunday in connection with the 42nd death anniversary of poet Nasir Kazmi. The event was organised by the Walled City of Lahore Authority. Poets Ajmal Niazi, Iqbal Rahi, Dr Akhtar Shumar, Baki Ahmed Puri, Hussain Majrooh, Dr Javed Manzar, Hassan Kazmi, Kazim Jafri, Raja Nayyar, Jawaz Sahab and Farhat Shah paid tribute to Kazmi. Kazmi was born on December 8, 1925, at Ambala and passed away on March 2, 1972, in Lahore. He mostly wrote in Urdu.
