Two road accidents claim 14 lives

8 people were killed in Chaman and 6 more died in Attock.

ATTOCK/ CHAMAN: Fourteen people were killed and many others injured in two road accidents on Sunday, Express News reported.

Eight persons, including two children, were killed on the spot in Chaman when a bus collided with another vehicle, killing five persons seated at the front of the vehicle. The others succumbed to their injuries a little later.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to district headquarters hospital in Pishin.

The vehicle was heading from Quetta to Chaman when the collision occurred. The bus passengers did not suffer any injuries.

In the second accident, six persons were killed and many others injured in Attock, Express News reported.

The injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital in Attock for treatment.

One of the main reason is the poor road infrastructure. The traffic has grown 1000 times since 1947 and the roads are still single lanes. One 2-3 RS at least is collected at various Toll plaza's enough to make 06-lanes all roads of Pakistan.
