LAHORE:

Founder Khwaja Riaz Ahmad Sikka was the chief guest at the occasion accompanied by Brighto Paints Chairman Khwaja Ijaz Ahmad Sikka, Khwaja Atif , Khwaja Zain and Syed Sajjid Hussain.
Sajjid Hussain, the general manager marketing at Brighto Paints, in his inaugural speech, said the hard work by the company’s staff and other associates was paying off. He looked forward to crossing the 50-year threshold, adding that the performance graph of the company is peaking and this can be judged by the international crown award, which the company received in 2013.
The company initiated operations back in 1973 in Shahdra Bagh, a small township in Lahore. Established with one small unit that produced oil-based paints, Brighto Paints started with a workforce of only 10 people, which has now exceeded more than 250 employees. The company also relocated its unit to Raiwind road to meet local demand.
Today, Brighto products are equally popular within Pakistan and our international clients and this is due to the quality of our products, said Khwaja Zain. We are now exporting our products to Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and South Africa, he added.
The chairman said that the success is a collective team effort, resulting in Brighto Paints being the biggest exporter in this field from Pakistan.
