At least eight people died in a road accident on Indus Highway near Lonikot in Jamshoro district late on Friday, Express News reported.
According to the Express News correspondent Abdullah Sheikh, at least eight passengers were killed while three were injured when a tyre of the car they were travelling in busted near Landikot.
Traveling from Karachi to Hyderabad, the burst tyre caused the driver to lose control of the car and it collided with an in car coming from the opposite track.
Motorway police said that one of the cars was completely destroyed in the incident.
The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
