Privatisation Commission Chairman Mohammad Zubair, who met top global investors during a recent conference in New York, has said the investors understand the opportunities Pakistan presents despite the challenges and termed their response tremendous.
The conference brought together top-tier global investors having total assets under management of over $7.6 trillion and top management of the most successful companies from frontier markets.

The conference “Asian Frontier Markets Day” was hosted by Elixir Securities – a brokerage house – in partnership with Credit Suisse.
Zubair, who is also minister of state for privatisation, participated as a keynote speaker and highlighted Pakistan’s overall macroeconomic strategy, government’s resolve to tackle the security situation and the privatisation process.
The conference brought together top-tier global investors having total assets under management of over $7.6 trillion and top management of the most successful companies from frontier markets.
