The fifth Brazilian Cinema in Pakistan exhibition will start from Thursday at the Brazilian chancery, House 1, Street 72, Sector F-8/3, said a press release.
The exhibition will showcase four award-winning Brazilian movies. The first movie, “Neighbouring Sounds” portrays daily life in a transforming society in a middle-class neighbourhood in Recife that enjoys a better life but has to face its lasting contradictions.
The movie was widely acclaimed by the critics and considered one of the 10 best movies of 2012 by the New York Times. It is a faithful portray of daily life in.
The second movie, “Craft” tells the story of Bianca, an actor who struggling with many small jobs impersonating movie divas and promoting events to make ends meet.
The third movie highlights the power of art in bringing people together and the relevance of immigrants.
