Chairman PEMRA: IHC bars govt from any action
Judge restrains federal government from taking any action against Ahmad until further orders.
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has barred federal government from taking action against Pemra chairman Chaudhry Rashid Ahmad. Hearing a petition filed by Ahmad, Justice Ejaz Ahmed Khan rejected government’s request seeking more time. The judge restrained the federal government from taking any action against Ahmad until further orders.
