Rocket attack: Tribesman’s house damaged in Jamrud

Official says he along with family members retaliated and forced the militants to flee.

JAMRUD: A house was partially damaged when unidentified militants fired rockets at a building in Jamrud tehsil of Khyber Agency on Monday. An official of the political administration said the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday when militants fired five rockets at the house, destroying boundary walls along with rooms. No casualties were reported. The official added tribesman Storigul Torkhel reported to the political administration that militants attacked his house by firing rockets and then firing at it. He added he along with family members retaliated and forced the militants to flee.
