Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Peshawar held a draw on Friday to ensure transparency in deputing supervising staff for upcoming Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) examinations.
Peshawar BISE Chairman Professor Dr Muhammad Shafi Afridi chaired the meeting in which the draw was held while several officials were in attendance.
Professor Afridi informed the meeting that all controllers of education boards had been urged to display their own list of supervisory staff on their websites. He added efforts to ensure that the upcoming SSC and HSSC exams are held in a transparent manner are under way.
“The process of installing closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras in certain government and private schools is going smoothly,” Professor Afridi explained, adding the practice will be extended to other schools next year.
“Cheating and using unfair means in exams should be discouraged at all costs,” said Afridi.
